After seven years of clinical practice and involvement in hospital administration, one thing we noticed is that, on one hand, healthcare facilities are increasing day by day, but on the other hand, care is still not accessible, affordable, or reliable.
Adding luxury to care, extreme premiumisation, and corporatisation are pushing basic healthcare far away from simple middle-class families — especially in mother and child care. Healthcare should not become fancy.
